Current initiatives:

  1. Adarga has officially signed the SME Climate Commitment, formally aligning to UN Sustainable Development Goals on reducing carbon emissions, greenhouse gas emissions and global warming. The SME Climate Commitment forms part of the United Nation’s Race to Zero campaign, the largest ever alliance committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 at the latest.
  2. Adarga has launched the Adarga Zero campaign to drive awareness and educate our employees, customers, partners, and suppliers on carbon reduction.
  3. Adarga introduced a remote working policy, so our employees have the option to work from home to reduce travel emissions. When travel is needed, use of public transport is suggested. Car sharing is encouraged for attending meetings where public transport is not possible.
  4. Adarga’s office is paperless as much as possible, we recycle, and we minimise use of plastic.
  5. Adarga deploys the use of electric vehicles for the movement of goods between offices.
  6. Adarga offsets the carbon emissions it cannot eliminate with registered programmes.
  7. Adarga sources ethical supplies locally.
  8. Adarga’s compute power is provided by AWS who have committed to 100% renewable energy.

Future intiatives that we are continuing to build out include:

  1. Adarga is relocating its Bristol office to a completely sustainable workspace.
  2. Adarga is putting plans in place to transform the London office into a more sustainable workspace.
  3. Adarga is aiming to further reduce plastic usage in the office by replacing all plastic items with sustainable alternatives. More focus will be put on sustainable office equipment and eco-friendly marketing materials.
  4. Adarga will ensure that our wider eco-system of suppliers have committed to net zero and ensure this is a criteria when approaching new suppliers.
